Along Kanagawa's 140km of coastline, there is only 300 meters of natural beach left - the Nojima Park, and this was the site of the 2002 Nojima All Clean Up. We flew the Ecoflag and after cleaning up, the beach looked so beautiful. 'Please don't litter - take your garbage home!'

About 900 volunteer divers took part in the Nishiizu Osezaki beach clean up. The first picture shows some of the garbage I collected in just 30 minutes! I'm collecting trash and hoping that someday such activities won't be necessary.
