280 people took part in the Wakayama Surfing Federation’s 6th Pool Surfing School, which was held with a number of goals in mind, including raising healthy young people through sport, understanding the importance of out natural environment, challenging oneself, understanding the wonder of the oceans through surfing, and promoting safety through understanding the dangers and being aware of emergency procedures.

The Ecoflag was flown at the event and we talked with the children about global environmental problems and possible solutions. Participants received a completion certificate and gifts from the event sponsors, and there was a call to have the event again next year

The success of the event was due to the cooperation received from Kindergarten, Nursery, and Primary school teachers, as well as PTA.
