*Since 1975, Kyocera Corporation has taken the initiative in the research, develop, and promotion of solar power systems. Kyocera Corporation promotes the environment through business, installing solar power systems not only in Japan but all over the world.
3.EXAMPLES OF USE IN HOUSING IN JAPAN
Thanks to Government initiatives, it is estimated that 7000 home in Japan have installed solar power systems. The system can be attached to a roof with metal fittings and supports, or already come built-in. D/C electricity is converted to usable A/C using a power conditioner. No electricity is wasted as excess electricity is sold to power generating companies and during rainy weather or at nighttime, can be bought back.

*Installed Example: PV20R167 (3.34kW)
Expected yearly energy output = 3448kWh/ year Uses a "d.Blue" solar cell module (maximum power output is 167W) The power output per cell is high and thus requires fewer cells to generate sufficient output. The color scheme is also unobtrusive, making it ideal for blending in with a building.

*Installed Example: PV72K59 (4.25kW)
Expected yearly energy output = 4297kWh/ year Uses the "econo roof" rooftop solar cell. Because this type is built-in, it actually enhances the appearance of the house. Moreover, as conventional roofing material is unnecessary, it is less expensive and only weighs a third of regular roofing materials. It is certified by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport as a roofing material

Power conditioner: "econo line 550", "eco line 402, 302" The power conditioner converts D/C to A/C and includes all safety fittings.

Our goal is to provide the most compact, quiet and highly efficient model possible. Kyocera's solar power system comes with an independent operational function as a standard fitting.This means that even in a blackout, power can be yielded from the power conditioner, if the sun is shining (maximum power 1.5kVA).
